127455 (1)This book just felt honest to me. I’m not sure how else to put it. Being the first book that I know of published by this guy I can definitely say he achieved a most intriguing machination of plot.

Identifying with the main character then a plot that consistently tries to fuck him is exactly what I was looking for this last weekend when I took a trip down Bavaria to Neuschwanstein.

Trust me, seeing authentic old cities while reading a book like this was fucking awesome. My girlfriend and I took a route down from Hamburg to Bavaria, or specifically Neuschwanstein. Took us 3 whole days and lots of driving. Well driving for her, my license doesn’t work in Germany, something about californians can’t drive so we have to take all the classes/exams/tests….I guess I can’t blame ’em.

Anywho, was walking through the castle of Ludwig II and all I could think of was how to trick the tour guides and get to the off limits 3rd floor…The brilliance of the plan however would have left my girlfriend in jail, and the payoff probably wouldn’t have been worth a damn.

But its all about the game. On to the second book.
